The Lions Scholarship
Cannes Lions is offering 10 fully funded scholarships to underrepresented talent within the creative industry. The LIONS Scholarship aims to support the next generation of talent by emphasizing diversity in location, gender, race, class, preference, and perspective. With five places available in the Brand Marketing Academy and five in the Creative Academy, a total of 10 individuals aged 30 or under from 10 different countries will be accepted. Apply here.
See It Be It
See It Be It is a programme designed to create space for women and non-binary people in the creative industry, accelerating their careers to achieve gender equality. Since 2014, the programme has invited up to 20 creatives worldwide to Cannes Lions for a four-day learning experience, offering mentorship, masterclasses, backstage access, and personalized sessions. Selected participants receive a fully funded trip to Cannes Lions, including accommodation, travel, and a VIP Festival pass. Apply here.
Equity, Representation and Accessibility Programme
The Equity, Representation and Accessibility (ERA) Programme, created by LIONS, aims to foster diversity and inclusivity in the creative industry at Cannes Lions. For 2025, €2 million worth of complimentary Festival passes will be allocated, focusing on the Global South. The programme grants access to Cannes Lions 2025 from 16 to 20 June, covering Festival entry but not travel or accommodation. It is available to any organization, community, or individual promoting diversity and inclusion, with priority given to registered charities, not-for-profits, and diverse-owned businesses. Jodi Harris Scholarship
The Jodi Harris Scholarship honors the legacy of Jodi Harris, a champion of creativity and diversity in the marketing industry, who passed away in May 2022. The Scholarship supports client-side marketers whose legacies are in the making by offering a fully-funded, curated programme, including exclusive sessions with industry leaders and VIP access to Cannes Lions Festival content. Ten emerging marketing leaders, aged 31-36, from Manager or Senior Manager roles, will receive a fully-funded trip to Cannes Lions, including accommodation, travel, and a Brand Marketers Pass with customized learning opportunities. Young Lions Competition
Every year CHINI Africa organizes the Young Lions Competitions to select professionals of 30 years or below, who will represent their countries at the Global Young Lions Competitions in Cannes during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Roger Hatchuel Student Academy
CHINI Africa organizes a selection process for students in tertiary institutions preparing to join the workforce in Advertising on graduation to attend the Roger Hatchuel Student Academy held during the Cannes Lions Festival. To be selected for this programme, students must first be nominated by their heads of department to join the Future Creative Leaders Academy to compete for this spot. Learn more.
