Story Update, 3 April 2020
40 Students from 35 Nationalities Selected to Attend the Next Roger Hatchuel Academy
Amidst all the negative stories coming to us at this time, there's a glimmer of hope as a final year student of Babcock University, Chibuike Eze, emerged overall winner of the 2020 Roger Hatchuel Academy competition organized by CHINI Africa as part of the Future Creative Leaders Academy supported by the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON). Chibuike will join 39 other students from various countries around the world at the academy. The Roger Hatchuel Student Academy is delivered by Cannes Lions in partnership with Google Creative Campus for the third year running and is a six-day programme for students looking to launch their careers and pursue creative paths into advertising. However, with the cancellation of the 2020 Cannes Lions Festival, new directives are expected from the Festival on when and how the academy will hold.
